I visited Ares Arizona BJJ in Mesa on a Saturday and had a great experience. The people were very welcoming from the moment I walked in. It was open mat and I got a few good rounds in with solid training partners. The gym itself is beautiful — a coffee bar, a separate room for younger kids, clean and well-designed bathrooms. You can tell they put real effort into the details. Everything felt organized, thoughtful, and family friendly. I will definitely be back.

Great and wonderful experience. The coaches and owner Prof Nava are so kind and knowledgeable. We tried a couple free introductory classes and for a first timer I felt very comfortable. Everyone was so friendly and the women's class was amazing. I learned so much in just a couple of hours! Thank you!

My family joined, but my three sons mainly go — ages 14, 13, and 7. I find the academy to be a great place for people of all ages. The coaches are patient, understanding, and very knowledgeable in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu art, and a very youth-friendly environment. It's a great academy.

Ares BJJ is one of the best in the East Valley and it's only getting better! The newly renovated facility has made for an even better atmosphere for training. It's a great situation for the entire family to start their BJJ training and family bonding!

My husband has been going for years. Our son joined this year too. He attends classes multiple times a week at a flat rate. The coaches are fantastic, great seminars and lessons, the location is convenient, and there is a family vibe between everyone. Ares AZ BJJ has been amazing! The kids class is perfect for beginners and intermediate kiddos. It has been inspiring to watch the kids gain skills and grow. The instructors are so patient, teach discipline, and have fun with various skill-building games. Perfect training for kids that have a lot of energy to get out!
